This striking mosaic portrays a Palestinian woman wearing a vibrant orange-red headscarf, her confident expression conveying dignity, strength, and hope. The vivid blue background and intricate stonework emphasize the expressive features of the portrait, while the Arabic lettering below identifies the figure as a Palestinian martyr and names her as Rزان النجار (Razān al-Najjār, Razan al-Najjar).

Through thousands of carefully placed stone pieces, Yacoub Al Atrash creates a moving tribute to Palestinian courage, sacrifice, and humanity. The artwork preserves a powerful story of remembrance while celebrating the role of women in the Palestinian experience.
