In The Cry of Palestine, Aziz Bouzekri personifies the Palestinian land as a grieving human figure. With tears running down its face and arms raised toward the sky, Palestine appears to mourn amid a landscape of destruction. The damaged buildings at the figure's feet evoke the devastation of Palestinian communities, while the darkening horizon suggests a world overshadowed by conflict and uncertainty.
