Behind the trophy lies the outline of Palestine, rendered in pale tones and accompanied by a Palestinian flag. The contrast between the recognisable symbols of international sport and the blood-red imagery surrounding them creates a deliberate visual tension. The trophy, ordinarily associated with victory, unity, and global celebration, is here placed within an image of violence and loss, questioning how moments of international spectacle coexist with suffering elsewhere in the world.
